Join us on the second Monday of each month at 5:00 PM for The School Accountability Committee (SAC). SAC is a school-based group intended to represent the school, the community, and those persons closest to the students. The group shares responsibility for guiding the school toward continuous improvement.
The purpose of the school accountability committee (SAC) is to represent the school community's point of view. The King SAC concerns itself with the improvement of education, safety, and learning environment for students at King. To accomplish this purpose, the SAC works in cooperation with the principal. King is looking for dads and other father figures to volunteer to be WATCH D.O.G.S.
Who Are WatchDOGS?
WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. school. During the day, WatchDOGS may read and work on flash cards with students, play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with traffic flow and any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own students, but other students as well.
